Six Sided Adventures

The Heart of Six Sided Adventures

One System, Infinite Settings

The beauty of the Six Sided Adventures system lies in its total modularity. Because the core mechanics are built on universal logic, the setting is limited only by your imagination. The same "Might" stat that powers a barbarian's greataxe also powers a star-pilot’s emergency thruster maneuvers.

  • High Fantasy: Stand as a unified front of heroes defending a crumbling citadel against a tide of orcs.

  • Cyberpunk Space Odyssey: Coordinate a multi-role heist on a high-security lunar vault where the pilot, the muscle, and the tech-specialist must sync their talents to survive.

  • Post-Apocalyptic Survival: Scavenge the ruins of a fallen civilization, where your equipment isn't just loot, but the literal lifeblood of your community’s survival.

The "Unified Party" Philosophy

In many systems, one player often ends up as the "main character" while others wait for their turn to be useful. Six Sided Adventures breaks this mold. Through our Stats, Skills, and Talents, the party is treated as a single, functioning organism.

  • Shared Momentum: Successes and failures ripple through the group. A missed shot from one player creates a tactical opening for an enemy, which the next player must then scramble to close.

  • Interlocking Talents: Abilities are designed to complement each other. One player’s "Distract" talent is the perfect setup for another’s "Heavy Strike."

  • No "Dump" Stats: Every character has a role in every scene. Whether it's a tense negotiation or a brutal firefight, everyone can have the skills to solve a problem and the talents to overcome any challenge.

Dice Rolling Made Simple: The "Keep" System

SSA uses a clean, intuitive XkY mechanic (Roll X, Keep Y). No more adding up half a dozen modifiers before you know if you hit.

  • 2k1 (Standard): Roll two dice, keep the highest. It gives you a consistent edge and represents professional competence.

  • 3k2 (Better): Roll three dice, keep the two best. As you increase your stats, skills, and talents you start succeeding when it matters the most.

  • 8k12 (Best): Roll eight dice, keep the twelve best. The max amount of dice rolled by both the DM and Players is eight. However you can keep and unlimited amount

  • *** When a roll happens any die that lands on a six explodes and a new dice is rolled again. This feature continues until your succeed the target number. ***

Character Building: Fast & Meaningful

Building a character in Six Sided Adventures doesn't require a complicated spreadsheet. You distribute your core stats (Might, Wits, Vigor, and Guile), come up with creative Skills and Talents, then choose Abilities that define your style.

The goal isn't to build the "strongest" character in a vacuum, but to build a character that fits your dream and the world that is being built together by all the players.
