Six Sided Adventures

Players Guide

Skills And Talents:

In the Six Sided Adventures system, Skills and Talents are the "descriptors" that bridge the gap between your raw stats and the specific actions you take in the story.

Think of Skills as your character's broad training (giving you more dice to throw) and Talents as your character's specialized precision (letting you keep the best results).

The Power of the Stack: If you are "Perceptive" (Skill) and "Using a Spyglass" (Talent), a standard 2k1 roll becomes a 3k2. The additional die(s) depend on the level of the skill / talent.

Modular Customization

This list is just a starting point. If you want a skill like "Expert Chocolatier" or a talent like "Identifying Cursed Artifacts," write it down!

  1. Name it: Give it a cool, thematic name.

  2. Define it: Is it a broad training (Skill) or a precision tool (Talent)?

  3. Check with the DM: Make sure it fits the tone of the campaign setting.
